The Registry of Aruba CEO Jorge Colindres announces in The Corporate Jet Investor conference in London, February 5, that Aruba has enacted a new aircraft registration legislation. The legislation allows for the expansion of legal entities from other jurisdiction to qualify for the registration of aircrafts in Aruba; it creates a domestic registries for IDERA’s; a domestic registry for the process of recording the right of first pledges or the right of first mortgages under the laws of Aruba. It also allows U.S. owner trustees as a qualified entity to registry an aircraft in Aruba.
